YH has over 20 years of experiencesin IT, consulting and Telecommunication industries as a country manager, CIO, a head of newbusiness development and business operation.
YH has been the Founder and country manager of Samsung SDS America.
He lead this position for 14 years and spearheaded its Sales and Marketing (Software, Hardware and System Integration Service and consulting) covering Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motors, Hyundai Heavy Industry, etc for 4 years. ERP, PDM, CAM/CAM
He was Samsung SDS’s “ first” country manager in 1996 and grew the business in Package S/W, SAP consulting, Y2K projects /San Jose CA with 100+ consultants from Korea, US for 4 years
He also established Samsung Corporate Venture Capital in San Jose with Draper (DFJ) and Advent international and managed it for 3 years
He has also been the Vice President of SK Broadband where he has held several Executive Positions.
He has been the Branch head (Gangnam/Subuk) responsible for new customer acquisition(Data/Voice/IP_TV), managed/led sales team/service proving teams of 110+ employees and 10+ service partners of 900+ employees, 20+ sales partners/distributors.
Successfully launched “the first” IP-TV service in Gangnam/Songpa areas with 1,000+ subscribers in Jun. 2006.
Covered/ achieved hyper-growth of new subscribers of Internet/IP-TV service in Incheon/North Geonggi Area.
